My Baby

In Chinese cultural tradition, full month is a very special day for a baby. On this day, baby's parents will give red eggs, red little turtle cake, and regular cake to friends and relatives. This is because Chinese believed this baby had overcome the evil. Of course, many will also believed this baby is now ready to become a healthy child. For our family tradition, we will bring our baby to the church for her first Sunday service because this is the blessing from God.

在中國人的傳統文化裏面，彌月之喜意表這個嬰兒從現在起將會逐漸發育成爲一個人見人愛的孩子。孩子的父母也會在這一天贈送親友們紅雞蛋，紅龜糕，及蛋糕以感謝大家對這個孩子的疼愛。而我們家族的習慣是在這個重要的日子帶這個孩子到教會參加他的第一個主日崇拜。因爲，兒女是上帝所賜的產業。
